♫ Thrashmetalová scéna v San Franciscu má nové jméno - FROM HELL tvoří George Anderson (a.k.a. Aleister Sinn) – vocals, lead guitar, Paul Bostaph - drums, Steve Smyth - lead guitar a Damien Sisson (Death Angel) – bass. Debut Ascent From Hell je oznámen na 08/04 přes Scourge Records.
 
♫ GORGUTS opustil bubeník John Longstreth, resp. vzhledem k jeho časové vytíženosti (letos vyjde nová deska Origin) s faktu, že častokrát už za něj zaskakoval Patrice Hamelin, rozchod byl nevyhnutelný.
